okay...most times at these stakes I will play AK pretty hard preflop...especially 6 handed...villan had been playing pretty loose which also should have been pointing me to pushing...my problem was that I felt I would get his stack eventually in a better spot...the pot was so small his raise was almost 5 times the pot and my thinking was what's the point of flipping for that...any of this making sense?

converter screwed up the action some but general idea comes across
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed)

UTG ($2.05)
Hero ($11.90)
CO ($6)
Button ($18)
SB ($11.40)
BB ($10)

Preflop: Hero is MP with AS KC
UTG folds
Hero raises to $0.4
CO raises to $3
Hero folds.

Final Pot: $3.65

how long are you going to fold to him waiting for a better hand?

Put him in and flip for stacks.

You'll be shocked how often he has AJ

personally, im down to throw 60BB in preflop with AK any day.

Especially in micro stakes, where you see some of the craziest [censored] ever.
I just put him in and call it a day. If he has AA/KK, so be it.

against a short stack, just get it in preflop and be happy about it.

If there were others involved in this raise fest too, I'd say great fold. HU though, I'm pushing.

funny that you put it that way...after watching him a while longer I raised with AJ and called his all in...he had J2 suited and I held up...at the time of the OP I hadnt seen a lot of hands yet

okay...general opinion is all in pre and gamble vs short stack...what about if the reraiser has you covered...what number of BB is this a call vs fold?
