your turn bet should have been around 10

i am tempted to bet 9 on teh river as a blocker bet and folding to the raise

I think you need to bet more on the turn.

Me too.

What do you think of a blocker on the river? We have some showdown value...? How do you pick between a block & a give-up?

Anytime there is 4 to anything on the board. I just assume give up. If i had the Q /images/graemlins/diamond.gif i might c/c. I keep asking myself on the river "what calls you that your ahead or what do you fold thats better"

I think you need to pot the flop/turn, but river fold is fine.

Pot flop, push turn. If you pot turn again, you'll be left w/ < $5 at the river w/ a pot at ~$37. At that point, chk/fold is real ugly. Turn push will be ~$17 into ~$13 pot.

As played, river fold is fine.

pot flop, push turn.

as played the fold is OK as we are almost certainly beat but at the table I'd probably call here.
