Sorry if this is a bit choppy, no converter works with Mansion.com, so I'm having to do this manually. I don't have much of a read on Villian, have only been at the table for a few minutes.

Buy in Table 7181

Seat 3 is the button
Total number of players: 8
Seat 1: CO (16.11)
Seat 2:
Seat 3: Button(3.75)
Seat 4:
Seat 5:
Seat 6: Hero (SB)(9.40)
Seat 7: BB(1.60)
Seat 8: UTG(1.25)
Seat 9: UTG+1(7.78)

Hero posts small blind (0.05)
BB posts big blind (0.10)
Hero is dealt down [K /images/graemlins/spade.gif Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif]
2 folds
CO calls (0.10)
1 fold
Hero raises to (0.50)
BB folds
CO calls (0.50)
flop (1.05) : [Q /images/graemlins/heart.gif 9 /images/graemlins/club.gif A /images/graemlins/heart.gif]
Hero bets (0.70)
CO calls (0.70)
turn (2.45) : [A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif]
Hero checks
CO bets (1.60)
Hero calls (1.60)
river (5.65) : [2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif]
Hero checks
CO bets (0.90)
Hero ???

This hand has really stuck in my mind since it happened. I see hands like this where I feel I can't get away from TTP. I don't know if I'm just not thinking hard enough, or I'm thinking in the wrong direction. Any help is of course appreciated.

Hi VashJuggalo-

I'm not really sure what your question is here. You have 2 pair and were lucky to see a showdown so cheaply.

Again, I'm not sure what your question is.

are you thinking about folding getting a little bit more than 7:1. this is a great situation to see a cheap showdown (which is your goal, hopefully)

I guess my question lies in my flop and turn play. The river was easy enough, but should I have gotten away from this hand sooner than the river?

I sometimes lead the turn here, for value and protection. It makes the hand play much simpler IMO. Though I don't mind the way you played this. Vs. some opponents I might fold to the turn bet, this is where reads and HUD stats can be very helpful.

Yeah unfortunately no HUD works with Mansion.com, I'm in the midst of trying to switch all my money over to PartyPoker because there just seems to be alot more helpful applications for it. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

most time when the flop bet is called villian has an ace. prob a weak one in this case.
