I have no real reads on the guy. I guess it's a question of whether or not he has the full house or not. Thoughts on all streets appreciated.

Looks fine to me. The turn overbet isn't even that bad, it's pretty sweet actually.

At these levels villains usually really like their aces. he will have a worse ace here a lot of the time.

Make sure to switch from FlopTurnRiver format to 2p2 format when using converter. Hand is fine.

No way I fold this hand. If you're behind, it's one of those hands you can't really help but go broke with. I think you could have at least bet the pot on the flop, though... Not sure if that would have made a difference...

Even suited you are not forced to call here. Generally I am dumping anything but pocket pairs and AK to a raise unless I know my man. While many people will say the stacks are deep and you can make alot up if you hit big, the reverse is also true. If you can read him well post flop and he opens a larger range of hands then this is a fine call but most of the time I am dumping this preflop.

Post flop looks great to me.

Just to be nitpicky... its not just a question of whether he has a boat or not... AQ and AK both beat you as well.

I'm already seeing the reason for splitting micro from small... but also seeing the danger of it.

That is... at a higher table with better players, I might actually worry more about what my opponent has here. From what I remember of the $2 tables... I'd almost never fold trip aces/jack kicker here.

Kick this up to small stakes (even the $50 tables) and I'd have to give serious consideration about my player read. (perhaps I would get killed at the $2 tables because I would assume anyone with an ace would call here so I'd never give them credit for having me beat?)

I just noticed nearly everyone is deepstacked. Where are the donators?

Yeah. Sorry. Kind of just letting what actually happened with the hand influence my post there. It was pretty obvious he had an ace but since people at this level seem to go a long way with any ace I had to figure he could have ace-anything and would probably have played it the same way with ace-anything. I thought the odds were that I had a better ace.

Looks fine. We beat enough holdings to make this profitable.
