Sorry for the x-post mods, hope it's okay.

Just looked up some flights on expedia, and now I am seriously considering coming to WPT Niagara for a long weekend. Which airport is the best to fly in to, and what's the best way to get to the casino? THANKS.

Imo, go to Toronto and then you take the subway to the bus station and take a relatively short trip to Niagara Falls.

It's not a big deal at all so don't worry about the bus.

Fly to Buffalo, take bus from there.

Yep. I think even flying to Buffalo and taking the bus from there is an even better way to get to Niagara for US players and a shorter ride.

LOL - This makes no sense. First of all there's no subway station at the airport itself... 2nd, the bus station (I'm assuming you mean Greyhound) is downtown, about 45 minutes from the airport and is in the opposite direction in relation to Niagara.

Flying to Toronto and taking the hour drive is not that aweful way to go about it. Getting from Buffalo to Niagra is going to take about 45 minutes as well, depending no

Yeah. Niagara's a driver's town. Unless you're just stickin' to the Lundy's Lane tourist strips.

Cabs are plentiful as you'd expect in a tourist town. Most of the attractions are within 20 minutes walk of the casinos.

Shuttles between the two casinos.

Age of majority's 19. There are half a dozen strip clubs and a veritable corncoupia of bars.

As for out of towners gettin' in. If you're using online bookin' like Expedia, etc. Look into shuttle packages to Niagara. It's a popular destination for flights into Toronto.

For budget US travellers, fly into Buffalo, the airport runs frequent shuttles to Niagara. Border crossing is a breeze. Passport recemmonded but d/l's quite ok still. Pending legislation isn't for another year or two.

As for getting from GTAA(Pearson Airport, Toronto) Look into Niagara Airbus. They run frequent commuter buses. A bit steep, but cheaper than a cab if you don't need wheels. The public transit system in Toronto is in expansion and flux. There'll be a rail line to the airport, but that's down the road. tl;dr stuff anyway.

Climate? October, Bring sweaters, cool-warm days, 60-65, sometimes 50-55. It's pretty variable. Nights should be 40ish, might get a drop down.

It's an open town and pretty safe. Crime's negligble as it is in most of Canada. You won't be hassled on the streets, very little individual property theft, good policing.

For those of you bringing families, there's plenty to keep them busy. Waterparks, Marineland. Wine lovers, Niagara Region produces some of Canada's finest wines. Pretty easygoing about racial and sexual orientatios, so it's just like a major city, just on a smaller scale.

Worst ... advice ... ever!

(Ok not that horrible, but definitely not good advice)

When you arrive in Niagra, you must get in a barrel and go over the Falls in it to get to the casino. Good luck.
