Going to be on vegas on the 5th - looking for a place where I can find quick filling SNG's on the strip from 100-500

any suggestions?

The only SNGs on the strip that I know run are satellites to the Bellagio and Wynn tournaments. Get there weekdays between 8-10AM for both of those. I heard that the new Caesars Palace poker room wanted to get into that business, but I couldn't confirm that because their tournament room wasn't open on the first day.

Aladdin doesn't run 100-500 sng's. $55 buy in is what you'll find. They tooled around with the 110's and they couldn't get enough people to get one started, so back to the 55's they went.

Best bet is to call and find out. Not too many places run them. Aladdin was the first, and this is the first I've heard of the Luxor doing them. Harrahs tried them for about a month, got no action on them. There is just too much juice in sng's to bother playing them live. The reason being is the casino is using a poker table that would normally make double the take in an hour than a 1.5 hour SNG will make.

Play them online, seriously.

What tournys does the new Caesar's room run? Do they run daily multi table tournys? Do they not run 10 seaters at all? The best place for 10 seaters is at any WSOP circuit event for the satellites. You can make deals at heads up then sell off your TEC chips to someone.

Actually, this year they were giving vouchers to any tournament, with your name on it, that couldn't be transfered. At least up to the $200 SNG's, that I witnessed/played in.

But yes, more SNG's can be found during Wsop and WPT events, but they still aren't worth it IMO.

Bally's run's a $100+10, but the floorman said they maybe only get 1 or 2 going a day

Run, don't walk to the Mirage. I was out there a couple weeks ago and they had them going off very regularly with $100-$200 buy-in range. I played in a $100+15 and the play was comparable to a $10+1 on Party.

My Trip Report (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=0&Board=singletable&Number=42 71544&Searchpage=1&Main=4271544&Words=+StaticShock &topic=&Search=true#Post4271544)

Edit: I see the OP read the trip report already.

For the $65 SnG, what is it $50 for the pot, and $15 for the buy in?

If so, that's close to 20% for the house. I wonder whether this is beatable?

I would imagine. The 120's in AC are comparable to the 11s on Party. I am 4 for 7 so far. There are numerous ways to find edges especially in the chop.
