Got the following message from PokerRoom:

Worth the effort? I didn't particularly enjoy PokerRoom and generating 200 points will require generating approximately ~$285 in rake.

What the hell, it's free money. I won't deposit to claim it, just try some 1/2 and see how the points generate.

I only got $10. But, what I did is play blackjack to see if I could make it something significant. I doubled up twice to 40, enough to play a couple SNGs.

Looks like it'll take about 7.5 table-hours to clear my $50 at 1/2. Not great, but worth doing when I'm not in the mood for 3/6.

It'd take less than half that time if you played 3/6.

What happens if you lose it and don't clear the requirements? Would they give you a negative balance? That's what Party does. They offer free money and give you a negative balance if you didn't clear the bonus.

Let's see... Play 3/6 with $50. Uhhhhh, no. (When I see people sit down at 3/6 with $50, I just know that money is gone to one of us.) I'll probably deposit $100 and 3 table it, clear it in another 2 hours, withdraw.

I don't think there's any penalty to losing it, as long as I do it honestly. (Now there's an idea. Play 3/6 with the $50, just happen to play a friend and "lose" it to him. That should take 5 minutes.) And even if I did lose it, they're going to have to get me to deposit more money to collect it. I'm not that big a fan of the site, big rake, odd players, slow games.

$285 rake for the entire table will generate 200 points. You will be paying only a fraction of that (depending on what % of hands you win, of course).

Their standard bonuses are 10x points, this one is 4x.

I would probably gamble it up, either end up cashing out $150-$200 or nothing.

they have a casino just try to run it up there and if you do get the 200 points?

I believe you get .05 points/dollar in the casino, which means you'd have to play $4000 to collect the $50. That's a whole lot of blackjack. With poker, it's basically a little over 100% rakeback, but paid up front.

Play a few hands a $200 NL, quadruple your money or lose it. If it goes well, you have $150 free from the terms.

well i meant goto the casino, try to run it up to XX dollars, if you hit that then transfer it to poker and clear it there, otherwise just lose the money and forget the bonus
