View Full Version : Pacific or Bodog bonus viable at micro limits?

Hello,

I'm likely to have around a $75 bankroll available to me (perhaps I'll try to get to $100 to increase bonus). I've found Pacific 60% up to $100 and a Bodog 100% up to $100 offers and am wondering how long it's likely to take to clear them given my small bankroll (and hence playing at less than 0.25/0.5 limit hold'em, probably 0.1/0.2 or 0.12/0.25 depending on what's available on the sites).

Any advice would be appreciated, even if it's just to suggest I grind away at Pokerstars nano-limits until I increase my bankroll.

Thanks,

David.

When I did pacific a while back I had to turnover 2k for 200 boni in wagered money, worst boni I ever did but I suppose if you got a couple of years you could do it at micro limits.... And maybe they changed it what do I know except that I hate Pacific.

I will be depositing at Pacific this week. The way they work there bonus is you have to make 20 times the amount of bets that you got in bonus. so if you get 60 bucks bonus money you have to make 1200 dollars worth of bets regardless of the number of hands you play.

so your playing .12/.25 you raise pre flop to .25, bet .12 post flop, bet .25 and .25 (turn and river) you are now 87 cents towards your 1200 dollars needed in bets.

However, I believe (havn't done this yet but am counting on it) you can put in 400 get 100 in bonus, wait then withdraw your 400 and have 100 to play with risk free. If you buy into a 22+2 SNG it counts as 22 towards the roll over.

That is correct..........deposit 400-->get 100.00 bonus-->withdraw 400 and play with the 100 bonus. WARNING! Do not play until u withdraw your original deposit. If you lose any thing it comes out of your roll untill you clear the bonus. For example if you sit at a table and pay 2.00 in rake and never see a flop you can only withdraw 398.00.

I would recommend using this bonus to take a shot and move up 1 LEVEL to gain experience and grow roll/clear bonus. You can't multitable at Pacific so this scenario is perfect to test the waters at a SLIGHTLY higher level with no risk.

Cardplayer has advertised a 100 deposit 100 bonus at bodog....

IIRC, uncalled all-ins count towards the wagering requirements at Pacific, making this relatively easy to clear at the NL tables.

The Bodog bonus is normally excellent at Stud tables, but I've never tried anything below 0.50/1.00 there. If you can get a table going and there's an ante at the limits you're playing, then you'll be picking up partial points at a decent rate.

I cleared the $100 at Bodog playing $25NL tables where the blinds are $.10/$.25, and it took me about 3 weeks. I'm not sure how many hands that was, but all I play is $25NL and it wasn't bad, and the super-fishy play at the tables was really juicy.

I've been playing on Pacific since mid-december. Deposited $60 to get $15 bonus. If you're looking to play limit, they have .05/.10 and .25/.50, nothing in-between. The bonus takes forever to clear (200 x bonus amount in wagers), but the games are very soft at .05/.10 (and .25/.50 judging from the table I observed).

They also offer a referral bonus. Find someone who plays there and you get $25 (I think) extra for signing up.
Oh, by the way, I play there! /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Edit: If you're planning on clearing more than $30 or so in bonus money, it's gonna take a helluva lot of hands at micro limits. I've heard the bonus has to be cleared in 90 days.

Oops, typo. Should be 20 x bonus amount in wagers, not 200. Also, I checked and it is $25 for referral.
