Last night I was at my local B&M, at the table next time a older gentleman is accusing 3 younger players of collusion, because one bet out of turn. Apparently the 3 young guys where showing their hands to each other before folding, goofing it up. The older man had enough then start to call them F'N cheaters and he would kick their XXX outside. The floor did nothing to stop the older man's yelling and cussing tirade that went out for 5 minutes and caused the whole floor to stop playing and stop the action. My question is, why the floor did not remove the man from the casino, any ideas?

Because the 3 young kids were betting out of turn, showing their hands to each other before folding, and otherwise "goofing it up". They probably deserved to have their asses kicked hard.

I saw a guy at the Wynn threaten to set a female dealer on fire. He wasn't ejected.

Card rooms put up with way too much.

dealer needs to control the action as far as acting in turn, not showing hands to friends etc and if there is a commotion the floor needs to step in.

And then there was the player who made death threats against a dealer, which expanded to threats to kill his whole family, and when someone said "knock it off, we know you're kidding" he got more upset and insisted he was NOT kidding and the dealer was as good as dead already.

He now faces criminal charges and has been ordered to never again enter a Harrah's property.

Sometimes casinos do the right thing.

ok, let's pretend you're the dealer. Are you going to hold their arms down so they can't put bets in?

bav - that kind of story is good to hear (that the casino actually did something right for a chance, not that some idiot would threaten to kill a dealer).

I agree that casinos let FAR too much slide.

From what I've heard about ejections in Tunica they don't seem to tolerate nearly as much as I believe they do in LV or LA.
If you act that badly out of line then you get tossed.

i really don't understand the point of letting a guy scream and shout expletives like that.
I know that some here think it's pretty entertaining when something like that happens. But I really wouldn't think this is the kind of atmosphere a poker-room would want or even be willing to tolerate.

I'm glad to hear that they lay down the law in Tunica. Back in the old days of Vegas you wouldn't get away with nearly as much sh-t as you do today. Look at what happened to that cowboy when he mouthed off to Robert DeNiro in Casino. Hell, if you ever threatened to set a dealer on fire at the Stardust back in the early-70's you'd probably end up in a hole out in the desert.
