Any word on these? The event is a month away. Nothing on their main page other than their SnG style sats and the two big mtt events.

can anyone tell me the various NL cash game limits at Fallsview? I would probably be interested in some side games as well.

Fallsview has 6/12 limit, 10-20 limit, 5-5 NL, 5-10 NL, occasional 10-25 NL and even rarer, a 25-50 NL

during the tournament, the higher stakes games will probably be spread regularly.

is there any 1/2 action as well?

if you want lower stakes games you would have to goto the Niagara Fallsview's sister casino, Casino Niagara.

Casino Niagara spreads many 1/2 NL games, with a rare 2/5 NL game. Also 2-4 limit and 3-6 limit.

The only thing that sucks about these games is the buy-in for 1/2 NL is $40 min, $100 max, and for the 2/5 NL, the min buy-in is $60 and the max is $200.

That's not a typo, its $60 minimum, $200 maximum for 2/5 NL.
The 1/2 NL is host to many good-size fish.

I was at Fallsview last weekend and they had two 1/2 NL tables ($100 max buy-in, though). I'm not sure if this became permanent or was done only for tourists during the Labour day weekend.

From talking to one of the pit bosses during one of my weekend visits he did mention that there are going to be some smaller MTT's before the Main Event.

Man that really really stinks, why is it only a $100 max buy in? That's craziness at the 1/2 level.

So okay, at fallsview wil it be the same, 2/5 game with $200 max buy in?

Btw, how's the rake there, is it reasonable?

Im pretty sure Casino Niagara's 500 game changed recently. I think the max is 4 or 500 now with a minimum of 200. I could be off on these numbers but I do know that last time I was there I noticed a change.

Yes I emailed the Poker Room manager, only the NL200 game is less than 100bbs.
