you should've either cap the flop or raise the turn. river is fine. if you dont know how he plays, then you played it okay.

uhhh,, soryy dude, but this is why you are losing at poker...
river play is correct, there is no other way to play it. automatic... there is no debate, although he absolutely certainly shouldve capped flop or raised turn.

It's not like the Q sucked out on any hands. obviously this hand on paper looks dumb (as do most other hands without context or even stats) but the queen probably did not help him! and even if I suspected that the villian had KK or AA I would not back off that quickly.

so no, if you're suggesting im losing at poker because i don't like to raise useless river cards and back of when it's probable that I have the best hand...you are wrong.

the fact is, pokerbob played too passively on the earlier streets. but given that he didn't cap the flop or pop the turn, the river is perfect for him to raise because he's also now beating AA and KK and the only draw that made it there is a flush.
