underpair vs ak is 55/45

but usually there's dead $ in the pot to make it like 50/50?

How much $ needs to be in the pot?

How about if you don't want go for a coin flip unless it's 65/35? then how much $ needs to be in the pot?

<-------- Horrible at math

It will never be 50/50. The probability of winning never changes. Equity changes.

He's asking how big the pot has to be in comparison to your stack to make the call EV-neutral.

If your opponent moves in for $45 the pot needs to be $10 for your call (HU) to be EV-neutral, since you'll be getting 55-45 on a 55-45 shot.

If you both had $100 instead of $45 the pot needs to be ($100+x)*45% = $100*55% <=> $45+0.45x = $55 <=> 0.45x = $10 <=> x ~= $22
