Question on Stars (relatively) new point system

I was planning to get back on Stars again (I haven't played there in a few months). I was wondering what range of points people were racking up, along with roughly how many hands they're getting in a month (at what level too wouldn't hurt).

Because I'm really liking the new VIP store and was just curious how quick people were accumulating points.

took me about 23,000 hands to get to the platinumstar status. most of my play 7.3k hands came from NL200.
i've earned 22,000 points FPP's in the process. keep in mind that at different star status's you earn more points. so over my next 23,000 hands, i could earn maybe 30,000 points.

Bumb. I'm curious about this as well. I'm also loving the new system and store and would like to hear how everyone else is doing.

I've never played on stars before and am new (relatively) to bonus whoring. Is there a point to play on stars if you want to whore? (and are probably not interested in playing to buy stuff from a store)
