View Full Version : Keeping Track of Wagers

I was wondering how people go about keeping track of their wagers when shooting for a WR at casinos. I blew about $200-300 yesterday not realizing that I went $4,000+ over my WR at Online Casino. Still cashing out a $325 profit, but another couple hundred never hurt. I can't stand waiting for email responses from these companies since I think they purposefully make you wait just a little bit in the hopes you'll gamble some more in the meantime. So do people just sit there with a pen and paper between every hand or is there some software or something to help out? Sorry if this has been asked before. Thanks in advance.

http://fundmydegree.com/bjwt/ This will allow you to keep track of wins, losses, what kind of bet you made, or anything else you want. You just run it along side of whatever casino you are playing

I just open excel next to the table and record each win or loss with a "w" or "l". I mark the stopping point in yellow before I start.

That is perfect. I like the tally counters too, but if this is free and as simple as it looks, it will do just fine. Thanks.

Hopefully this thing isn't trojaned. Someone posted a tally counter in this forum before and it was trojaned. Of course worthless Norton only detected it afterwards, I had to use adaware to get rid of it.

I would ONLY download blackjack wagertracker from rpoints.com. That is where it was built, and I think it's probably safest. YOu'll have to register to download

I hadn't thought of this aspect. Do you know if you have to pay to register?

At Most online sites (75%-80%) they have some sort of "Comp Points" you can use to track how much you have wagered. You just figure out how many $$ you have to wager to get 1 point and then compare it to the WR. Once you reach XXX number of comp points you are done. On the small number that don't have anything like that (like planetluck/starluck etc) I just use the old pen and paper method of playing 10 hands, then making a hash mark on a piece of paper until I get enough to complete the WR. I know some people use a hand clicker like they use at amusement parks etc.

I use windows calculator.

Enter 5+ (or whatever amount you are betting)

and then just click the equals button after each time you hit deal double or split.

that's what I do. the playtech sites always try to screw you over because they always undershoot the real amount by 15%.

I figured this out after the fact with OnlineCasino.com. After attempting the withdrawal I found it and got $12 for my $12,000 in wagering. Figured it wasn't worth trying to cash out alone so I just bet it until I busted.

I use a deck of cards, minus 2 (50 total), and just pile them up with my left hand while clicking with the right, put one down every time I click 'rebet'

when all 50 are gone, I have a chip stack I add to

hasn't failed me yet, and it's effortless

I actually think I may use my abacus to keep track of the next site I do. Great idea! The fact that I'm actually using an abacus for something will definitely keep me entertained enough to help offset the boredom of playing blackjack.

I use a stack of poker chips - one color to keep track of bets (ex. 50 chips @ $2 per bet = $100) and another color to keep track of how many times I've gone through the stack. The stack of my second color chips corresponds to the WR (ex. $4000 WR = 40 chips), so when they're all gone, I'm done.
