Dennisa

This is horrible. I can earn party points for 1.5 cents each and receive cash. Wow, Thanks Party.

Hi dennisa,

We haven’t seen you around much lately! There's been a lot happening and we'd like to welcome you back with an invitation to take part in our exclusive VIP Rewards Promo. As one of our most valuable players, you've qualified to take part in this opportunity to exchange your PartyPoints for cash.
Exchange Your PartyPoints for Cash

This points for cash offer starts August 16, 2006 and will run through October 14, 2006. The more you play, the more you can cash out – there's no limit.
How do I turn my PartyPoints into cash?

Easy – just earn a minimum of 5,000 PartyPoints.

Once you've earned a minimum of 5,000 points, all of the points that you've earned from day one of the promotion will be cashed out at a rate of $.015 per point.

Plus, you don’t have to wait until the end of the promotion to cash out. At the end of the first 30 days, we will deposit any cash that you've earned into your account - your overall earnings won't be affected.
Points Changes

We have discontinued the bonus points. But don’t worry, any bonus points already in your account won’t disappear.

You can now earn points when you play at both PartyCasino.com and PartyPoker.com. You will also earn more points while playing poker tournaments.
A few reminders

* At any time, you can opt out of this promotion.
* Check your If you spend PartyPoints in our store, those points won’t be eligible to be cashed out in this promotion.
* Please take a moment to read the terms and conditions for this promotion.

Good luck – we look forward to seeing you at the tables.

Sincerely,

Mike O'Malley
Poker Room Manager

I got the same Step 1/2/3 offering as you. Not terrible after 15k points, plus you'll get a monster weekly entry.

I also got this: "But that’s not all. Because we value your play, we've gone ahead and moved you to Gold status. This means you will earn PartyPoints even faster."

I'll take it.

Woo mine works out to less than 5% RB. Awesome deal, Im glad I waited so long. The only way this promotion would be good for me is if I had RB on my VIP account.

Lousy bonus for me. I calculated that I will get around a $250 bonus for earning 16000 partypoints ($0.015 for each partypoint) on 2/4. That is 53000 raked hands.

That is $0.004 for each raked hand. I must have made a mistake?

I changed the email address that I use for Party a couple of weeks ago. I check my new Party addy just now and there is no offer. Strange. I know they have my new address because I've withdrawn a couple of times and I've gotten the confirmation emails at the new address. No way they would still be sending email to the old address, right? Wrong. So I go check my profile in my Party account and the new email address is there.

I guess I'll have to call them to make sure they will be sending the emails to the correct address from now on. Just another in a long list of minor nuisances.

2.5 cents a point isn't the end of the world, I guess. I don't like them to taking away the bonus points, though. I put in a lot of Happy Hour hours.

Blue member, got the 'points for cash' and 'Earn Monster entry' insults.

I Earned about 1500 regular points in July playing mostly $11s SnGs, some 25 NLHE, 25PLO and some minor Blackjack and Videopoker.

Moved to Pokerstars after the first week of August because of the troubles with multitabling speed SnGs.

Think I'll have to pass for this 'VIP' offer, but I really liked the Partygammon reload!

This is not an offer - Party does not want you accumulating points, it doesn't want to give away Ipods, it took away all bonus points.

If you really kill yourself you can make $375 in 2 months, BUT YOU'VE ACQUIRED NO POINTS.

First, Party scrapped its VIP program and now it's scrapping its Party points/Party store program under the guise of prolonging the VIP program.

When I had an A8 offer of 11k points for $500 (or something like that) I determined it wasn't really worthwhile compared with what I can get elsewhere.

It wasn't as bad as some of the other A8 offers and if it was just a little bit better I might have done it. But it just didn't make the cut in my determination.
And this was when there wasn't an additional monsterized-rake on the tables.

$375 for 15k points is definitely pretty lousy....especially with the monsterization of the tables.

I completely agree it could be a typo on party's part, but I think assuming my offer is the same as the 1k/5k/15k one is potentially damaging. In the past, party has shown an obvious willingness to scale rewards according to past play, so I don't see why this promo should be any different. Considering I could earn 1k points in less than two days with normal play, I don't see why they'd make me that offer at all.

I got the 3 step promotion. Which is strange, I've never gotten a VIP offer before from Party, I haven't played there since July 15th, and Party has never been my primary site. I pretty much only ever played there for bonuses. I only have 30K hands there in the last year. Only 2k hands in July and 4K in May (nothing in June). Most of my play has been at the $100NL Level.

I think it's pretty random.

As for this promotion, it's not nearly enough to move me from Stars where I'm almost 1/3 of the way to my 50" tv.

This actually is not that bad - for 50K points you will get 1250 - vs. right now 50K points gets you a $200 IPOD nano.......better than nothing...

I got pumped to gold, itll be interesting to see how much $ I generate from this thing, but playing 200nl I'm guessing not much.

Did everyone get bumped up a level? I didn't seem to, and I'm disappointed.

I have a feeling the bump might be for no limit players, can somone confirm if they've been bumped a level and play only limit?

I only play limit and got bumped to gold.....

I know this is covered elsewhere, but I can't find it.

How do you figure out whether your blue, silver, or gold?

Open Party, click My Account, click Players Club, click "If you want to know how many...". Check it. Thank-a-n00b.

Actually, this is how u check ur status.....straight from Party email:
You can check the category of your account, yours is Silver category
and the points you have earned in the quarter towards achieving your next
category, by logging into your party account click on "Players Club",
then on "Details" you will see a link "Check your PartyPoints statement"
click on this link and you will see the above information.
