I'm trying to have a rough estimate of common situations.

2 outers = 80/20
ie: AA vs KK

3 outers = 70/30
ie: AK vs AQ, JJ vs AT

2 overcards vs 2 undercards = 65/35
ie: AK vs QJ

1 overcard vs his 2 middle cards = 60/40
ie: AT vs KQ

interlaced cards = 62/38 (Should I count this as 60/40? /images/graemlins/confused.gif)
ie: AQ vs KJ

Pair vs 2 overcards (6 outs)= 55/45
ie: 88 vs AT
(Why is this called a coinflip? isnt a 5% edge pretty big?)

Is this a good rough estimate to use while in the heat of battle?

Am i missing any common situations?

THX

Unless you think you have enough of a read on the guy that you can calulate your pot odds preflop within 2% .......

Because there is almost always dead money in the pot negating the negative money expectation for the over cards. And agian... You can't calculate your pot odds to 5% preflop because you can't know what your opponent has to 95% of the time.
