Pacific comp points don't seem to be working as advertised!

Kept a check on mine as they seemed to be accumulating very slowly -

Tonight 3-tabled $25nl for around 2 hours, had a good run and went up $110 and then back down $35

Checked cashier, I have been credited 2.69 comp points, which equates to $26 in total being wagered!

Live support were unable to explain how you can win $110 and then lose $35 while only wagering $26 in total and gave me an email address to contact for an investigation

An email to that address bounced

"Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

support@pacificpoker.com

Technical details of permanent failure:
PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 8): 550 5.7.1 This system is configured to reject mail from 66.249.82.239."

Anyone else noticed anything strange??

I am currently playing there doing their signup bonus and bonus from boogster.

I haven't kept close count but I also have noticed the points moving very slowly at times. I 3-4 tabled NL 100 for over an hour one night and only picked up 15 pts. Was at least a couple of $100 pots I was involved in during that time.

just make sure you leave the full bonus amt in there, and do not go below that amt until the bonus clears

Points are credited for the amount you wager in RAKED pots. In other words, if you steal the blinds, or call from them vs lp raise the nfold flop, you will get no points since the pot is not raked.

That makes it harder to track your wagers there.

if you deposit 50 lets say, and you get 13 bonus plus 25 bonus from a referral for a total of 38 bonus bucks,

you can withdraw the 50 and play the bonus.

Also, if you request a cashout and then lose the 38$, they don't deduct the 38$

Cashouts take a long time 2-4 days (Annoying)

You can only withdraw the bonus after so many points.

In this case 760$ wagered to claim the 38$ if you don't bust

Hope this info helped.

Also, you can cashout whole dollars over 5 at anytime you are over the 38$ bonus.

Well I suspect the 4 pots where I was all in for $25+ and got called would have been raked! Thats over $100 in wagering right there yet I only got 2.6 points for the whole session!

The reply I got from Pacifics support makes party support look quite intelligent!

Just be glad you still get comp points. If you win too much money you get this email:

Dear XXXX,

This is Russell M. from the Operations Department at Cassava (Gibraltar) Ltd. Cassava (Gibraltar) Ltd operates "Pacific Poker".

I am contacting you in regards to your Pacific Poker account with username
"xxxxxx".

Our bonus point's scheme in Pacific Poker is a great benefit that we are happy to present to our members. This scheme is not targeted towards expert poker players but rather to help the average player overcome losing streaks.

Please notice that our Bonus Policy states that we reserve the right at our sole discretion, to deny any bonus or promotion, or rescind any policy in respect of that user, either temporarily or permanently. Since you are a very successful poker player (as can be seen from your total winnings), we have decided to stop bonus points from being added to your account.

The current bonus points that you have in your account, can be converted to money and placed into your bankroll until the 23rd
of August 2006. From this date onwards, although your points will keep accumulating, you will not be able to convert them.

Please note that this by no means will hurt any of your other privileges as a successful player on our site - we congratulate you on all your winnings and we hope to see you continue to prosper in our poker community.

Regards,

Russell M.

I found my points actually went down after playing a couple of times! After that I tried withdrawing the bonus money and it came through even though the number of points earned didn't appear to be enough.

Their systems are terrible.

Regards,

David.
