Two quick questions if anyone if willing to help out...

1) Can I signup for a different acct than I use at Party Poker?

2) I don't play much Backgammon -- what does Limit $500 mean? Does it mean a point is worth 50c and you can keep doubling until you reach $500? If so, can you just reject the double, lose the game and thereby clear $500 of the bonus even while putting on 50c "at risk"?

Thanks if anyone is willing to answer.

Fullhouse,

another question--
the "limit" you slect is not what you are actually wagering, correct? it is just a theoretical max?

also, to create a .50 / 500max game you need to throw in 500 and not 400 into your account, correct?

Yeah. And depositing just $500 isn't enough, because if you go below $500 you can't create a game or play in a game with a $500 limit. Depositing $503 will cover everything and you'll cashout $600.

Easiest $100 ever. I'd say it takes maybe 5 minutes, because you don't even need to play the full games (just hit the doubling cube right off). I doubt that this $1200/hr rate will be around for long, so if you haven't yet, get on board.

Thanks, OP!

that seems extremely odd. I'd try logging out and logging back in, opening your account page again, etc. maybe refresh your browser? I'm sure you've tried all these things, though. Every time party credits me a bonus the exact same thing happens, then it pops up.

Anyway, this bonus was easy and fun. It was so fun that I have been tempted to play some low-stakes games, though I think I'll try a tournament to get a certain # of games with limited risk, because I don't know exactly when to offer my opponent a double when I'm ahead.

Yeah...gotta move on this quickly.

Also I'd recommend playing your games through reasonably (rather than just double/resign on 2nd move, etc., which is the equivalent of folding ~700 consecutive hands to clear a poker bonus).

Up $102 on the whole deal. That's it, I'm goin' pro!

dlk9s
08-14-2006, 11:24 PM
This is great. It seems to be working. Be sure to deposit more than $500, because if you lose right away, you won't have sufficient funds to play in a $500 max game.

EDIT: Done! I went 3 and 4.

So do we think that this is a bug with the software or did 2+2 just figure out the easiest way to clear this bonus? If it's not an error or bug and this was ok, then there is no way Party is going to pull this bonus.

If it was an error, then this is what? The third bonus that Party has completely screwed up and left themselves vulnerable to be taken advantage of...First it was the one month early this year where you could use ALL of the targeted bonuses. Then there was the TopBucks fiasco and now this Party Gammon thing.

PokerStars who?

We have all obviously disliked the monster promotion. But, with the $100 casino bonus last week, and now this one for backgammon, it seems like the party organization is at least continuing the random $100 bonuses that we all enjoy so much. Hopefully a $100 poker bonus will be coming out "next Thursday"

Also, big thanks to OP for finding this and telling everyone how to do it, especially those of us with no clue of how to play backgammon!

You only need to deposit $400. You just need to have over $500 available in your partyaccount.

I have $500 available in my party account. But in order to re-deposit the money, I would have to withdraw it first and that would make it impossible for me to get the bonus (according to the terms & conditions). As I am from Europe, I don't have any $ except for the money in PP and a little in Neteller. A Bank transfer would take days and cost a lot of money... So, it is really not possible to withdraw and then re-deposit? Has anyone tried it so far?

Easiest bonus ever, thanks a lot to OP.
I can report, that the offered $0.5/500 games are very soft, and if you dont have any backgammon skills being the first to double often works wonders.
I made an easy 7-0 (although i only doubled when i was winning anyway).
Running out of time loses the game by the way, one of my opps did this.
The reason for not accepting a resignation might be a chance to make a gammon, which doubles the value of the game (So probably running out of time with a gammon chance costs twice also).

Yes, you need at least $500 to play a 500 max game, so you actually need to deposit MORE than 500 to ensure you dont' dip below 500. I deposited 600.

sg23
08-15-2006, 06:03 PM
you don't *have* to play $500 max games tho (although of course it goes faster if you do.) you'll hopefully see a few people also starting $300 and $400 max games, perhaps because they have smaller BR or no money at party other than the bonus deposit.

Why on earth do people keep posting things like this. Learn to play the game! The reason he won't accept your resignation is because he thinks he can gammon you for double stakes, and in such a situation, he shouldn't accept your resignation. Just play the game out, and let him try for gammon. If he offers to double you will get your chance to resign. Otherwise it's an extra 2 minutes of you life.

Judging other's attitudes about the game when you have no idea what you are doing makes you the douchebag. It's a lot like saying 'OMG some douchebag just went all-in on me and now I can't see the turn and river for free'

AND... for all of you automatically resigning all doubles, you are idiots. You should play this bonus accepting a max loss of $7. Many times, you should accept doubling offers.

Sigh. Then again, I suspect many of you have no idea what you are even doing at all so whatever, decline all doubles.. but it's usually incredibly stupid.

Please people, just go online and read for a few minutes. Learn to play, even a little. Even just learning the rules would be good.

To all the good backgammon players out there, I have a suggestion for how to make about $500 in a very short time, over and over again.

Offer games to all the obvious whores but change the initial stake to $500. They'll check yes very quickly without even looking, and might even be nice enough to open resign. If not, should still be pretty easy to beat players who have no idea what they are doing.

Real Backgammon players must really be loving this promo.

Oh and cheers to my nonperforming Party affiliate, hope he enjoys the promo as much as I did.

You guys using the poker cashout......have you been withdrawing your FULL amount of money in the poker account?? If you happen to not be cashing out completely, the $100 will still probably get denied. Just a thought

ok, this is pissing me off, I have resigned over more than 7 games of .5/$500 games. My point total is going down after each game, but my balance is still $610, I deposited $510 (already had a $100 in there). My bonus just says pending, should it say somewhere how much of the $3500 I have wagered. It just says I need to wager $3500, and the bonus is still pending. anyone?

So what's the masterplan guys?
Party will probably confiscate this $100 upon your next deposit like they did with the cabin downgarde glitch.

For most people it would be -EV to give up Party for 100 bucks.

Dear xxxx,

This E-mail is with regard to a cash out request for $1121.00.

We see that you have wagered $10.00 and have to wager $3490.00 towards the bonus with code PGAMMON25 before the system would allow a cash out. Kindly complete the wagering before affecting a cash out.

It's highly unlikely Party will take back the $100

This was supposed to be a legitimate bonus given to players and Party messed up the tracking of the requirements.

the cabin downgrade was

A. Totally erroneous. It was refunding of money for cabins people had not won at all

B. Instantaneous, clicking a link on a webpage made money appear in your account

C. For much larger sums of money ($400 - $600)

Edit: well it appearst hey might be stopping it NOW, however I don't think they'll try to take it back from people who have already cashed out.

My response...

To whom it may concern,

I would like to have my request of $601 cashed out of my party gaming account honored. I met the requirements of the bonus, you acknowledged it and therefore, regardless of YOUR mistake, owe me and should honor your word.

What else does a gambling site have other than their word? I guarantee you'll lose a lot more than my 100 bonus money if you fail to release it and I start telling people that party gaming doesn't honor their word and changes their policies to fit their whims.

Secondly, you have not returned the balance to my poker account as I cannot play poker or backgammon on your site. Sadly, as an avid poker and backgammon player, this is not the type of introduction to party gaming I was hoping for.

Thank you for your attention to this matter, I eagerly await your response.

Ditto. Played some cover play backgammon, some poker, and cashed out whole account from poker side about 11 hours ago. Not a penny on Neteller or Party account at the moment, cash out is "success" on transaction history.

just got the reply from them:

We understand your concern for the cashout. The PGAMMON25 bonus which you are referring to is showing as released due to a minor technical problem because of which the wagered amount is showing incorrectly. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Please note that you have to wager $594 only after which you would be able to request for a cashout.

We see that as of now (Date and time of bonus) you have wagered $5 on our games and still you have to wager the remaining amount $594 before September 15, 2006.

Please note that wagering is the amount which you take to a game i.e., the Stake amount and not the Limit amount set for the table.

We once again apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding in this regard.

Sincerely,
Preeti

Got this email also.

For me, they are calculating my remaining wagering requirements as (my cashout amount - currently wagered). Anybody any idea why they are doing this,

Like you tkcoffey, why only 594 remaining and not (3500-current wager)?

I guess I'll have to wait and see. I always keep money on Party and have made a few withdrawals already, but since I haven't withdrawn down to 0 I didn't get any email. There's no pending bonuses etc on my account so I'll just play dumb if $100 mysteriously disappears on the 15th.
