View Full Version : NINE.com are they really on the level?

I've heard a few people have busted trying to clear the bonus there. I too busted it on the weekend.
I requested my BJ history from support, I do this at all the casinos unless I can access it in the software.
All casinos previously have been very happy to provide this to me and in a timely manner.
Nine.com however have not been so forthcoming. I've now requested it 4 times and each time I am told the casino manager will send it within 30mins. I'm still waiting after more nearly 72 hours.

What gives? Do they have something to hide?

They're not rigged, if that's what you're asking

Only thing weird with nine.com was the password asking in the live chat. otherwise everything went smoothly. Cashed out ~$450 so 250 profit and the cashout was very fast

I had no problems when I did Nine. The only controversy I have found is that some people get the bonus up front and some get it after meeting the WR (which seems to be related to if you use the download or no-download version).

I felt the casino was really streaky. I busted the original deposit betting small amounts, then redeposited and ran it up finishing ~300 ahead betting small again.

I had no problem there. Don't have my records close but cashed out $450 or more there.

Just finished the WR there: down $690:
-690 + 300 bonus = -$390...the software was very streaky, oh well.

cashed in 300, up 500$ on bj, 300 bonus, cashed out up $800. and it took 15 mins to cashout, which is unheard of in online casinos

I had to redeposit as well, but I finished ahead of EV anyway.

I busted $500 in 30mins bettering 3*$3 at multihand blackjack in the quickest and most severe run i've experienced. redeposited $100 to finish clearing it and suddenly the game felt completely different and i ran it up to $260 betting 3*$2. felt dodgy as hell to me at the time but hey who knows /images/graemlins/smile.gif

It says in their T+C that Black Jack does not count towards wagering requirement...what am I missing?

Also, this is a 20 times bonus, correct?

I can't really acuse them of being dodgy but I'm still waiting for them to send me the history I requested.
Asside from anything else this may suggest, it's just damn poor CS.

That is true. I do remember their CS sucking.

But as far as the fairness of their games goes, I think they are fine.

I am not sure here. Yesterday I deposited $300 for a $300 bonus (WR 12.000).
For a while everything went smooth, then the dealer had four 21 (3 or more cards) in a row and quicky I lost 300 playing optimal BJ strategy (minimum bet, $2). It seemed the dealer never busted even when he hold 5 or 6.

Today I deposited 100 and tried again. Busted again. I have today stats: 299 hands, single win 33,11%, single losses 49,83%. Maybe it is just variance...but it is very strange.

I saw this today, too. What's the best game to play now?

Looks like Pair Plus is 2.32%, War is 2.42% (?) so an EV of:

$300-$12,000*.0232=$22...

Oh well, good for those that got it.

Ante is better than pair plus(2.01), which doesn't matter anyway since they have Jacks or better at 0.56% for 300-(12,000*.0056)=232.8 lack of multiline sucks though.

Actually with their lowered payout for the royal, the HA is almost 2%, so 300-(12,000*.02)=$60 EV

From what I see they pay 4,000 for a royal. According to WinPoker their paytable has a 0.46% HA.

If you download it, do you get the bonus up front?

blackjack doesn't count towards the WR so I'm not going to bother

Yeah it's a 20 times bonus, but yeah the t&c's say that black jack does not count towards wagering requirement. Maybe they recently changed it?

You are looking at the payout for one coin. When playing VP you ALWAYS want to bet the max coins to get the bonus payout for the royal or as you calculated you are giving up substantial payout %. In this case the per coin payout goes up to 4,000/5 = 800 for the royal when you bet the max 5 coins.

Just getting back to the topic...

Still no response from them.

From what I have heard, the download version gives the bonus up front, although I have heard others say it didn't for them. My personal guess is it has something with if you set your account up on the nine.com web site or set it up using the download client, but don't know for sure.
