Are slot bonuses +EV?

I know slots as a whole are -EV, but what if you do it with a deposit bonus? Is it even a little bit +EV?

Wondering if I am missing out on money by not doing these.

Slots can range from 2-15% HA. Another issue is the massive variance (SD of 8-9).

yes. The standard 400% bonuses with a $50 deposit and $200 bonus are +ev if you double (or triple) up in baccarat or BJ and then grind out the WR on slots.

While this is pretty common, I'm pretty sure Izverg proved that this method does not affect the HA in a positive way at all.

Careful, many places void your bonus if you try to double/triple up using a game other than slots.

To answer the post, they may or may not be EV but they're fun regardless and can result in big windfalls. Would you really turn it down if you walked into The Mirage with a $50 bill to play slots with and they said, "Hey, here's $200 extra to play with, have fun"??

I cashed about $3,000 out of the major 300% & 400% bonuses, including (obviously) some really lucky scores.

Cool, guess it just depends on what slot it is. And if you can play another game before clearing through slots...


Reason why I was wondering was because a few months back PlanetLuck gave me $5 (I know, big deal). At the time, didn't know what to do with it, so decided to just play penny slots. Well half way in I got a $100 win. Not bad for free money...

Since the win, started wondering if these slot bonuses could become +EV (even slightly).
