i'm going to make a prop bet with a friend on today's NFL games and need to figure out what odds i should be getting.
I get the two visiting teams and he gets the home teams. If PIT and CAR both win, I win the bet. If they both lose he wins the bet. Otherwise it's a push.
assume that PIT is +135 and CAR is +145.
thanks.

If you assume 2 game parlay @ 13/5, then 13/5 * 1.35 * 1.45 ~ +509

I am assuming the +135 and +145 lines you are giving are "fair", and you don't have a problem with your friend getting -135 and -145 (even though, this is a better price than the books have on these games).
The other replies confuse me.
Simple arithmetic shows that you have a little over 17% chance of winning the bet, and about a 34% chance of losing. So, the "fair" payout should be slightly less than 2 to 1 (I have it at +196).

Am I just a moron or something? How did you get this?
You realize that he only loses if both the home teams WIN, right?
