I don't think this promo is stupid. Sure the prizes may be small if you get the 500 points, but I'd gladly take a free 215$ tourney chip or a bit of extra cash in my account. I'm going to be playing there anyways and its random and the only requirement is to play. So, again, I don't see what's so bad about it, it may be small but a little bonus will make me happy as I play small limits.

This is pretty bad, have to admit. Sucks like the monster and sizzler and many other recent promotions. But 4 years ago I joined planet poker and played their freerolls almost every night. Finally came the day that I won one of them. $25 real money into my account! I gambled the 25er, got hooked at ring games and deposited another $25. I asked for the first time deposit bonus which was something like 15% and they said no cause my tournee win counted as a deposit! Played there for a year and was never offered any sort of reload or other promotion.

It can be worse.
