hey guys,
starting my first casino whoring adventure. curious though, is there an advantage/disadvantage to playing multi-hand BJ or should i stick to single hand? is the only difference variance? is it similar to multi-tabling poker?
any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

same EV...more variance playing multi-hand
if you want the math behind it, do a search

sorry for posting it in the wrong forum; thanks mods. just wondering one last thing: i thought i read about a delay in them tallying up how much you've wagered. how much time is the delay? should i wait a few hours after i play to ask, or is it okay to ask a few minutes after?

You should count your wagers, yourself.

This is incorrect WoO says playing mutiple hands = LESS variance.
If you double your bets you'll have more variance.

To clarify for all, playing 5 hands of $1 is less variance than 1 hand of $5. However, playing 5 hands of $5 would have more variance than 1 hand of $5.
This should be fairly obvious.

Actually, as the n increases, proportional variance decreases.
