VIP actually received (and answered) my email today.

Here was their encouraging response:
Dear Les,

Thank you for contacting us.

We were forced to delay the VIP offer during July due to the WSOP and the launch
of the Monster Promotion, but we are now ready to release the August VIP offer!

We are going to be sending details out during this first week of August. I
cannot tell you any further details now, but it will definitely be worth your
while! Details will be sent to you by email and/or post log in pop up, so watch
out for these details.

If we can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate in contacting us
again.

I see [censored] like this and laugh because its...well because it's just kind of funny. But it's also funny because it's kind of true. I'm amazed these guys make money and not only that they have a pretty good grip on the online poker market. A friend of mine and I were talking during lunch about how this came about. Were they the first one in the market? No. Do they have the best celebrities/poker pros repsresenting the site? We are talking Mike [censored] Sexton here. Full tilt has most of the faces and where are they as a poker site? Best software? Hardly and with this new upgrade I can't even play the site (and this isn't even because the increased rake). Heck. After I deleted the software a while back I had to reinstall much of my previously loaded software (we all remember this fiasco right?). Overall they just don't get it but through some wierd annomoly they just keep chugging ahead and gaining share. Sorry for the soapbox. I'm done now. Nice pic

And I have to agree with ncboiler, it's just amazing how they still roll in the dough while rolling over tiher own customers. They are just becoming a monopoly, only if the fishes have some kind of common sense, they would understand that party is a rake whore. Sadly, our own source of income is from idoits.

I believe the last "real" one was in May; June featured a WSOP promotion that was out of reach for all but the busiest and highest-stakes players on the site. Of course, I didn't even get that offer, so who knows.

How can you guys ask why party poker make a profit whilst at the same time your probably multi tabling there.

I left that party 12 months ago and have never looked back. If you want them to get the message then do the same and find another site.

They have an entire department still working on it. Please allow them some time to put together the next VIP offer.
The entire department hopes they can finally get something together for you within the next few days.
They've been hard at work on this for the past several weeks and they believe they have nearly completed the construction of this next offer.
We apologize for the delay.
We also apologize for lying to you through all of July that there would actually be another VIP offer and then feeding you a similar lie for the first week of August.

I don't see why they can't just give the VIP's a $100 (or more) bonus. Assuming they are really trying to come up with something cool, I would think it'd be a nice way to appease everyone for the time being.

They have a whole department working on a way to get their best customers to play the largest amount of poker for the least amount of money and bonuses given back to those customers. Unfortunately, Party grossly underestimates the amount of extra rake that would be generated by providing generous vip offers to their best customers. By not providing regular worthwhile offers, they have lost hundreds of customers that generate rake of > $5,000/month. Perhaps by giving these customers a measely $500/month they may have kept them. Unfortunately, Party does not seem to see the value they are losing. It is a good thing that many other poker sites do see this value.

I sent an email and got a 'while I cannot tell you when it is coming out I can say the marketing department has assured us there will be an offer for August, here is a 20% up to 100$ reload offer that I hope will help ease the wait, this can be cleared at 5x raked hands, ENJOY!!'

In this instance the August bonus was scheduled to be launched this

It is really quite pathetic that people including myself keep playing at party, what other business would you take this kind of treatment from when you are making them thousands of dollars a month?
