Party 3-6. I make hidden trip 4s on fourth bet, then bet fifth. I get two callers. On sixth a new player who seems loose and fairly passive pairs 7s (not his door) and bets out. I call -- I was actually concerned that the passive player coming to life meant trip 7s. The third player with a pretty obvious str8 or maybe flush draw board calls (something like TQ69 with two spades).

On the river I make fours full, but the sevens bet out

DECISION 1:
I just call, fearing sevens full. Plus, I'm not giving up that much by not raising, since I can get an overcall from the other guy.

Now the player behind me, with a likely str8 or flush, pops it. I'm not worried about him. The guy with 77 just calls.

DECISION 2:
Hmmm now if he was full he'd three bet right? So my hand is probably good so I go ahead and three bet. They both call and I take it.

Situations like this are why I love poker.

We discussed this same situation from greensteins book.

Good play.

Y'know, someone should make a converter for Party hand histories.
