I'll take it. After walking into the Mirage 5 min. before cards were in the air hungry/sweaty, I just finished taking down the nightly Mirage $220. Got to Heads up and agreed to chop+play for $700 (had a slight chip lead). Dude moved in on the flop into my top set of Qs and it was over. After the deal it was good for $4530. Given that I hadn't played live since APR and the ME for me is Sat, I was happy with the auspicious start to my Vegas Adventures.
Full tourny report will follow.
BTW, any 2+2ers in town just hanging out tomorrow?

John - Congrats and WTG.
Nice win.
Certainly a much better start for you this time around after not even being able to catch a win at 3/6 or 4/8 limit last year.
Not only do you have the nice confidence boost with your Mirage win, but I think your experience at the main-event last year (more familiarity with the structure, atmosphere, etc) will help your chances immesureably.
I'll see ya out there in 2007.
good luck.

Bob,
Thanks for the kind words. As promised, here's the trip report. I posted it in MTT community since it's a better fit there.

Let's see if I can make it two wins in a row w/the WSOP ME!
