So i want to Vegas with my Neteller debit card loaded in the hopes of hitting every ATM machine i saw, my plan is to get enough money out for buying into the $1500 events just before and after the main event, provided that i don't make it through the first days in the ME.

Anyways, all ATM's will only spit out $20's, and most have a limit of like $2-300. While i may just hit up every ATM in town to get out the money, will there be any problems in me showing up with like 75 $20 bills to pay the $1500 buyin? Do i have any options? Would a bank think i'd be suspicious if i showed up with like 200 $20 bills and tried to exchange them into $100's (i'm a foreigner, 20 y/o)?

Hope you turn 21 before you expect to play.

I turn 21 this tuesday, registering for the event at midnight, hope i can get in without being an alternate.

I would think you can register before you turn 21 as long as you're going to be 21 when you play, although idk. Secondly, banks here are weird about wanting you to have an account with them to do any business for you...I would just change them into $100s at a casino.

I have talked to Harrah's, they won't register me until i turn 21, they suggested me meeting up at midnight on my birthday themselves.

So a casino wouldn't mind me showing up with like 200+ $20's and getting casino chips for them? If that's the case, i can't imagine the WSOP cage having a problem either.

Can't you go to the cashier and use the Neteller debit to pull out 1.5k of live chips and then have someone take those to the registration desk? I guess they check ID at the cashier though... I dunno...

My issue isn't registering, i've already cleared that with Harrah's (no way to register until 21, no matter who registers), my issue is simply paying with a lot of small denomination bills as that seems to be the only way i'll get my money out.

ATM's in vegas casinos will usually give out 100's

You take your 1500 in twentys go to the nearest bank, ask for 1500 in nickels (may take two-three of them) and pull up to Harrahs with a dump truck full of nickels, so be it that it all adds up to 1,500.00 they will let you play.

I can get $800 from Bank Of America or Wells Fargo in San Antonio from my Neteller, I would think it would be the same or more in Vegas.
A casino would change a 5000 twenty dollar bills. A bank probably up to 500.

I do not know why a casino would have any problem with this.

You: "Casino! I want to give you some money."
Casino: "No thanks."

I agree, it wouldn't make much sense when you look at it isolated. However, if there was a line of 200 people, i'd think they'd be pissed to have to handle a bazillion small notes. From where i come (Denmark) we have laws that enable shops to reject any purchase if you use a quantity of more than 20 of any monetary unit.

I am not 100% sure. But I think that they will accomodate you.

The casino has machines to count as many bills as you want to give them.

ATM by the Rio poker room has $1,000 max. I've only been able to take out $800 per day w/ NDC from it though. I think its a Neteller restriction.

Hit me up when you arrive if you run into a shortage, can do a Party transfer for cash or something.
