Damn, southwest was a little more pricey than i was expecting.
They wont raise their prices anymore in the next three days will they? (if i fly around thurs or fri?)
Also, anyone have a decent hotel recommendation in the 100 - 150 dollar (weekend) range? (decent pool, etc)

www.lasvegasadvisor.com (http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com) or www.cheapovegas.com (http://www.cheapovegas.com) should have everything you need.

No, but depending on where you're flying from, Southwest may sell out.

Weekend hotel prices for the next two weekend have gone up quite a bit. It will be tough finding a good price.

Excalibur is $131 on Friday the 28th and $141 on the 29th. Price drops to $51 on the 30th.

Pool is OK, nothing special, lots of families with kids.

I like cheapovegas to shop around. I ended up going with Golden Nugget. Great reviews across the board. Four stars here, 4 diamonds there. It is running me about $69 a night from the 28th til the 4th which is a HoJo's price with near Belagio accomidations. Only reason so cheap? Well, it's in old Vegas where the rest of the place has gone to hell in a hand basket. Binion would be rolling over in his grave I hear it's so bad now. But the Nugget is the bright star they hope will bring it back.
