Nobody wants to talk about this? they're already down to the final three and I can't find a thread here /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Cyndy Violette T390,000
Benjamin Lin T350,000
Sean Sheikhan T165,000

Just 183 entries for this one, nine fewer than last year. Pretty sure this is the only event that has shrunk in this WSOP.

This would be one of the most prestigous tournaments ever won by a woman.

Jennifer Harman won the 2002 $5,000 limit hold 'em and the 2000 $5,000 no-limit 2-7 draw tournaments.

Annie Duke won the 2004 WSOP $2,000 Omahs Hi-Lo split and Tournament of Champions.

What other big wins are there?

Cyndy must really have her tournament game in order. IIRC she had two final tables last year at the WSOP and I think 2 cashes already this year prior to this stud event. It would be cool to see her take this one down.

There would be Kathy Liebert winning $1 million at the first PartyPoker Million.

I'm just surprised that this event has gotten so little attention from 2+2ers from beginning to end.

The Sheik is a good stud-player, has made a few stud final tables over the years.

1 Benjamin Lin 600,000
2 Shahram "Sean" Sheikhan 250,000
3 Cyndy Violette 90,000

Sheiky finished second, he is very joyful in his exit-interview as usual

The lack of interest is good evidence why Harrahs is right to run so few non hold 'em tournaments.

As much as I don't want to believe this, it sure seems so.
