Someone told me you could bring a laptop to the card room during the wsop tournaments and use WiFi connection and follow whats going on at the other tables live.

They also said you could play online games while at the live table.

I figured that computers were not allowed in the poker room, and certainly not at the tables. Does anyone know for sure?

I'm assuming by 'card room' you are referring to the tournament area. No laptops, blackberrys, cellphones, cameras w/ zoom lens... They seem to be ignoring cellphone use, except while sitting at a table. And of course you CAN NOT play online poker while sitting at a live table. That's just silly.

Tournament, Im sure exactly what he said, no on pretty much everything. However, there was a post in the B+M section a few months ago of aguy playing at the Wynn that brought his notebook.

i have my own wireless, and my computer works in the room. however, i have not opened it at an active table, nor played online.
