Welll - since you asked.

When should I go by the pokerstars lounge and sign my waiver? When will the 1k be deposited into my account (I took money instead of hotel room).

Why is your 10 billion dollar company so nitty about soft drinks? I went in to get a diet coke during a break and was told by some assclown refreshment nazi that winning my way seat on your site, wearing your shirt and hat every day (I've played 6 events so far) and paying thousands in rake wasn't enough to qualify me to go "beyond the ropes" and get a diet coke.

What a cheap and nitty decision. I would have gladly paid for my drink - I don't want anything for free. But my desire to hang out in your booth no longer exists - I am scared that such high degrees of pettiness may be contagious.

I just want to sign my waiver, get the new gear/clothes I am supposed to wear for you people (my hat and shirt are old) and never have to go into your nitty lounge again. Down the street they rake about 1/100th of what you do in a day but they are a little more accomodating, much more polite and definitely more amicable.

I know you only rake 1.5 million or so a day and are about to go public and make a few billion each for your founders so don't worry I will bring my own pen to sign the waiver.

Thanks,

You are so very grateful for the $1000 they gave to you for free. Seriously, there's only one nit in this conversation and it sure as hell isn't pokerstars.

For free? I won a tournament on their site they didn't give me a damn thing. They are a business not a charitable organization I just found it funny they are the 2nd biggest and their booth sucks and whil wheaton might be gay as everytime I go to take a leak I look up and there he is.

I am relatively attractive for a poker player and get a lot of gay, stalker type attention. I didn't see Whil today he might have left me for Patrick Antonius.

J/K about Mr. Weaton I love his journal but seriously I just wanted to sign my waiver and get a diet coke but man were they chinsy. I wonder what they pay that guy to guard the drinks.

You won a 12k package for there being 11k in the prize pool. They give you hotel or the $1k for free. From their own pockets.

There is a noticable difference in the handling of the Pokerstars hospitality room and the others. In particular both Bodog and Doyle's Room went out of their way in the treatment of players, visitors and walk in's. The Pokerstars area was poorly run with an attitude. I stopped in three times over two days and saw:

1. One support person in the room throwing tee sheets at people with an attitude.
2. The food and drink area was not kept up nor cleaned.
3. An argument with a player who was trying to get their shirt and hat before play began.

Given the size of this event is was a badly run and I would have someone's head for running it this way.

What a bizarre thing to say. It seems as though you, rather than Wil, are the gay character in this little mind drama of yours.

lets see, everytime i write an email to pokerstars i receive a prompt response that is written by an actual person that adresses my original email.

Oh and I bought tickets to a Dallas Maverick game suite with FPP's. They then decided to invite me and my buddy to the next game where they were having a better suite for free. I got to walk into the game with Greg Raymer and got to meet and talk to him, and also met Mark Cuban.

I also had access to as much free beer, water, cokes, diet cokes, and food or whatever as I wanted.

They are by far the best poker website out there, and even though they may have a "nitty" guy working for them every once in a while, they far surpass expectations.
