Especially about this bet on sports thing. Look people since it appears about 90% of you know nothing allow me to impart some knowledge.

The case against BOS STARTED in the early 90's when the founder was running a sports book in New York, he then went too Florida setup an online book while still IN the USA and then moved off shore. THIS is why the government is peeved wouldn't you be? Also that fact that BOS is just plain stupid for having a toll free number americans can use to place bets this is DIRECTLY in violation of the Wire Act. How does this affect poker?

IT DOESN'T AT ALL, because the Wire Act DOES NOT APPLY TO POKER OR CASINO's. If it did, there wouldn't be legislation in congress to ban such things, use common sense here people. Why do you think they only prosecute sports books? Because its an easy win, like flopping the royal flush and someone goes all in against you easy pickings. The reason you will NEVER see a poker site/online casino tried is because A. Theres a chance the casino would win. B. If they did win it would set such a huge legal precendence you think theres poker sites now......just wait.

The only danger currently to online poker is the bill in Senate which the most encouraging thing I have heard is the Jon Stewart skit making the rounds on capital hill. You can be completely for something, but if someone shows you how foolish your side is, you lose followers regardless if you still believe. SO PLEASE PLEASE, stop saying the same crap over and over without doing a little research it's just annoying.

Haha,

If you are annoyed Mr. Hat get lost. I have noticed that you don't even have your story straight on some things.

Maybe you could be taken more seriously if your grammar and maturity were not that of a 7th grader.
