This thought just occured to me while seeing the updates that Andy Bloch will finish either 2nd or first in the HORSE event at the World Series.

Right now, because of poker and 2+2, there are probably 500 American high school students, talented in math, who now intend on studying "Game Theory" in college. Game Theory has historically had a number of economic and military applications, and will probably become more important for survival in the 21st century.

When you make a law, you should consider its ramifications. The U.S. is kind of lacking in mathematically talented young people, nowadays.
