NL 200
Villian (big stack), aggressive raise and reraise type, raises standard to 12 dollars in EP.
Hero has AKo and reraises to 40 dollars.
Villian then puts hero in for about 100 more.
Hero?

if you are willing to reraise you should be willing to call the all in. you are fine with a coin flip here and there's probably a chance he shows AK, AQ, AJ, or KQ.

you probably should call more often than reraise in this situation if they are really that aggressive.

Situation clarification....
Villian raised to 12, I reraised to 40.
He reraise to put me all in (80 More)
Isnt there $160 in the pot and I have to call $80 to win?
Doesnt this give me an automatic call getting 2-1 on my money?
I was ridiculed by calling the 80 on the table, and have been perplexed ever since.
The opponent had QQ, I lost, but still think the odds favored my call in the situation. Any suggestions would help.

Am I right on the odds calculation though? It's not a situation you would want, but...do the odds warrant it?

Range 1 good call, Range 2 bad call (just barely). Full ring or 6 max? Sounds like FR.....

edit: oh I used pokerstove for this....
