READ THE OTHER POSTS FIRST!!!! Nearly 99% of these questions have been covered already! There are some very smart people that post in the legislation forum that have given some great answers to your questions. Just read a few threads before firing off your "so, online poker is banned now!?!!?!!?" posts.

Just my little rant and .02

part of the problem is that the best thread about it has a non-informative title. also, I imagine the average 2p2er who stumbles in here doesn't know what "HR 4411" means.

Here's a newsflash: the average 2+2er doesn't even read this forum.

What should be sticked are the handful of good threads where most questions are answered thoroughly.

No, but he will if the Senate passes it. He has said that he supports it.

Pls delete "HR 4411" from the OP's title and this becomes the perfect thread.

When's the Senate vote, tomorrow? How do I find out who voted aye or nay in the House? Should I write to my Senators? Can I just move to Canada and play? This won't affect people who live in the United Kingdom, right? Will playing poker online become a felony?

Will Neteller still work? This law won't do anything because most credit cards won't let you deposit into gambling sites anyway, right? What if ISPs are ordered by government to block access to online poker sites? Won't the Supreme Court overturn this since it's unconstitutional?

Isn't this just a ploy for the U.S. government to eventually tax and regulate online gambling? Isn't the fact of the matter that the government simply wants their cut?
