Check out this link for some interesting reading on how eBay is partially behind this attempted ban. eBay is actually going 1 step further than this bill and is equating people who place any sort of bet online with child pornographers. That is, they are trying to make placing any bet online a class C felony.. And here's the biggest surprise.. eBay stands to make a ton of cash from this bill going through. Who would have guessed that??

I think it's about time to let eBay know exactly where they can stuff their vintage barbie dolls and autographed mini-helmets.

I e-mailed them them (no response) and posted on their message forums and got banned from the forums for 7 days.

EBAY is a ripoff anyhow, their is lots of anger at them for other reasons also (from watching the CNBC special about a year ago). I never like them before and this just multiplies it infinately.

The funny thing is, even as eBay has joined Rep. Goodlatte's moral crusade against gambling, the company's overseas operations are moving into the gaming business. According to the gaming industry publication igamingnews.com, PayPal Europe has recently entered into agreements with two online gambling services to allow PayPal to be used by Europeans who want to gamble online.

Just about every major corporation gave to him. But 10k seems like chump change when your talking about companies like Walmart. Heck they can afford to give that to every canidate.
