My first attempt at a sticky bonus went something like this:

Sign up for Acropolis. Neteller in $100. Get $110 bonus...

Pontoon $50/hand...Lose 3....Pontoon $60/hand...Lose and am broke.

This isn't BB post becuase I know of the variance and all that. Basically it was a report for my first sticky and now I'm asking what the next best sticky is...

Any recommendations?

Am I stupid for preferring normal blackjack over pontoon for sticky bonuses?

The HA difference is so small that it won't really matter for stickies.

Pontoon has higher variance = MORE GAMBOOL.

It takes mucho marbles to play a lot of stickies.

There are plenty of good stickies out there. Check out www.casinodave.com (http://www.casinodave.com) and his sticky list. He has plenty of them listed. Make sure you spread out signups with different ownership groups.

I am almost out of cashables so I plan to start hitting up stickies within the month. casinobonuspages has some good stuff also for sticky 1 and 2s.

I realize the HA was negligible for the sticky. But I figured that it was better HA and more gambool. Mathematically and excitement wise...its a rip.

Unfortunately I went bust. I will look into CasinoDave again. I started using his stuff then wandered to other methods for cashables. But I'm not liking the cashables I have yet to do so I figured I'd try stickies.

I think it depends first on the type of stickys you are doing for 100$ deposit get 100-200$ bonus you need much lees money than for 300deposit 500bonus..

i would say a conservative 20-25 "buyins" so ~2500$ for 100$ type stickys would be good in form of not going broke AND feeling comfortable wich risking your money.. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Also i depends on yout target, if you set a low target like only doubling up you need much less money then for higher targets like 3-4 x b+d

At least i would say your comfort zone is very import, if you cant handle with loosing 100-300$ in 1-2minutes at 4 or more casinos in a row its nothing for you.

How many people attempt stickies where bj isn't allowed? I figure that the variance is much higher on that, no?

I can't answer your question really (as I think it depends on the game you choose) but I was comfy losing $100 as I've won more than enough from cashables to feel okay losing it...

That said, keep in mind also that if your first sticky you hit it big..You can do a couple more stickies "free" or whatever. So really your bankroll wouldn't have to be very big if you win your first one.

Edit to say: I don't need a lecture on how it isn't "free" and I think you know what I'm trying to say...to whoever is going to try and be a nit.

My guess is that for most of these BJ is allowed, but doesn't count towards the wagering requirements.

Haven't tried these yet, but I would still play BJ till target or busto, and then switch to another game to satisfy the WR.

Or is there some good video poker strategy for stickies?

This use to be an ok strategy but now alot of casinos won't let you play BJ at all with a sticky bonus.

Nothing beats having $1600 ride on a game of war (VP doubling).

Well, when you win, that is. When they show a 3 and you pick a 2, monitors tend to fly.
