Partially my fault for not looking up all the information myself.

I was talking to one of the live support people on Hollywood Poker, and he informed me that I would get $25 deposited into my account for reaching the Platinum level. I thought great, that's an awesome deal. He then tells me that I will get the same for reaching the Titanium level. I was like wow, you guys are awesome.

I then go to the website, and it says that you get $25 in cash for each level. What I did not see, and that was not told to me, was you have to exchange 5000 points to get that $25.

This happened with 2 separate support personnel. I was told I would have $25 auto deposited into my account for each level.

Now I play 6-8 hrs a day Every day. I was considering making Hollywood one of my main sites until now. I can not stand being lied to. I sent my CashOut and have uninstalled the software from my computer. I still have bonus to clear there, but refuse to give a site who lied to me any money.

cry more.

EDIT:
actually, i do have something constructive to ask...
does anyone know, when you exchange those 5000 points, it doesnt subtract them from any bonus you are clearing or anything like that does it?

LMAO, as a part of the 2+2 community, I find it very helpful to read both positive and negative things about these different sites.

There are actually 3 purposes to this post. One, to inform people that the Hollywood support personnel are misinformed and will give you misinformation (Best case). Two, the real deal with the $25 in cash. Lastly, that not every person who visits online casinos and poker rooms will put up with it.

I am sorry you are a mere lemming who follows without an opinion of your own. I am equally sorry that you have no use for other peoples opinions, but would rather act childish by posting "Cry more". A two word response showing higher intelligence and a superior brain than I.

I find the HP support great and I rellay liked the 2*200 bonuses at 5x I recieved last month. To bad about the 25 bucks but as a general rule I never quit a profitable site if they just screw up a little bit.

Then again I'm swedish so there aint that many pokerroom skins to choose from.

Cheers, Kristoffer

My problem with HWP is that the bonuses never appear in my account, even when I call support they say they are there.

I would love 5x, meanwhile I am playing 10x and 7x on other skins.

My bonuses disappear too every once in a while but they always come back and they clear even when they are not shown. when the site loads slowly the bonuses are gone sometimes and when it's faster they are always there. could be just a coincidence but i wouldn't worry about that once you've seen the bonus there the first time.

as for the customer support i think they are good. i got a pretty fast response to my email(few hours or so), fast compared to other ongame sites and there is also live chat and you can chat with support in the client.

7 referals and 2 $200 5x bonuses for me at HWP. can't complain

I thought the point of playing there was to clear one of the many (5x & 7x) bonuses that are available now. Why would you worry about an extra $25 for reaching 'titanium status'.

I received good CS from Hollywood, sorry you had a bad experience.

You can't honestly think they were going to give you $25 for reaching each level. If so, try actually reading the website next time. It VERY clearly spells out that the $25 offer is to be purchased with your points. There is nothing on there that says you get $25 per level and I can't imagine where you think you saw that.

In the OP he said it was partially his own fault that he didn't check the site. And if you're in live chat and the person tells you would get that why wouldn't you believe so.

With all due respect, it's just common sense.

You go through five levels in 1250 points. That would be $125 per month in "extra" money on top of the bonuses we're all clearing already. In essence, Que is claiming that he thought he was entitled to a 10x bonus that cleared concurrently with the 5x bonus he was already working on.

My main question is more why someone playing 6-8 hours a day every day is that worried about a $25 bonus and not more concerned about having good rakeback?

Hi Snitch,

The points you earn playing at Hollywood Poker count towards both your bonus and any tickets/cash/merchandise you wish to exchange them for. So the 5000 points you earn will clear your bonus, and will also be available in your account for you to exchange for whatever appeals to you.

Cheers,

Julie

Hi BigBiceps,

The bonus display issue in your My Account page should have been resolved in our latest update on July 5th. If you are still having issues viewing your bonus, please contact us at support@hollywoodpoker.com and we can look into this for you.

Cheers,

Julie

Actually its only $50. One for Platinum and one for Titanium. Second, I said it was partially my fault. Partially only as a support personnel in live chat told me that is how it was.

Can i suggest that you're over-reacting when you say you won't play HW again? HW has been very good to you (and all of us) by giving these awesome bonuses lately. It sounds like you're cutting off your nose to spite your face. If you're going to quit a site because some CS person gave you the wrong information, then you're not going to play poker anywhere! /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Haha, does it seem like the average winning hand at showdown is quads? This is the one site where I can flop a boat and know my odds of winning are very slim! Just playing...sorta.

lol...yeah, I know how that is. I was on good end of it last night thankfully.

Raised PF with K/K. Flop came K/K/7. Of course villain called me all way to river with two pair.
