This is good news, imo. We should allow US companies to open up online casinos and tax them, thus keeping the money in the US.

That is so damn comical. He says all along it's about morality and protecting minors, and then says it really is about people getting rich without being taxed by Uncle Sam, but instead of taxing them just wants to stop them from making money. If his colleagues can't see how full of [censored] he is they don't deserve to be elected dog catcher.

I'm still suprised at how unconcerned the majority of the online poker populace is about all of this. Instead of bragging about your net worth and phenomenal skills, maybe you should be taking the time to support and involve yourself with organizations that are helping combat this very real threat of an outright ban.

This Goodlatte fellow is full of contradictions. Whenever a politician says they are against some issue because of the ethics behind it or because of the children or some chit it makes me wanna puke. Who believes this chit?

This ban will probably pass and it really pisses me off. Just because money is moving outside of the US. That's the only reason. Poker is the purest form of capitalism there is. And it's a perfectly noble profession for those who are creative and intelligent enough to develop the skills to tweak out a profit.

When online poker is dissolved the government will keep some more money in the States, but will also mightly piss off another segment of its population.
