So, if I knew how to play, this would mean something to me, no?

Cliff notes: Grey has a fully functioning dice luckbox.

I rolled hardly any doubles at all. I'm just the [censored]. Played two more games against the same guy and got 5 more points.

what stakes do you play? and how's the fish level at BG?

I've been getting bored with poker and was thinking about getting into BG. On a scale of 1-10, where 2 is chinese poker, 7 is holdem, and 10 is chess, how hard is it to get really good at BG?

If you can 8table the 10$ games on PartyGammon and are a winning player by any margin - how much can you expect as an hourly winrate?

I guess you had a read.

Someone, anyone, explain this.

Explanation for the bg-ignorant:
It looks someone is taking a backgammon with the doubling cube at 64. In a $1 stake game that's a $192 loss.

A pretty good/bad win/loss by any standard

EDIT: I see now the stake is $0.5.

uh... the cube has not been passed yet.

I once got backgammoned by a friend of mine on a 32 cube. Only $1/pt, thankfully.

I was just pointing out the 138 pip margin. I only learned how to play a few days ago, and it just seemed like this was a huuuuge margin.

Yeah, you wrecked this guy. I can't even fathom how this would happen.

Basically, it would be hard to intentionally do worse than this guy's opponent did. That's the level of owning here.

I want to try this, but I'm a bit skeptical of a Party game that involves dice. Yeah right!
