Whether or not this was on the televised scheule, ESPN is gonna make sure this is televised for the sheer fact that Hachem is at the final table. Dutch Boyd being the chipleader only adds to the appeal (in some respects, we're just talking across a broad general TV population... we all know what a sumbag he is).

Anyways, here is to hoping we see the green hat on TV.

Dutch Boyd raises preflop and Joe Hachem makes the call. Mike Goodman moves all in from the big blind for an additional $62,000 and Dutch Boyd folds. Hachem makes the call and shows Kheart9diamond but is dominated by Goodman's Aheart9club. The board comes Jclub4diamond2club8diamondAspade and Mike Goodman has doubled up.

So far Boyd has had trips twice and turned a 7 high straight.

You have to give him credit on the 2 trips ... he slowed played them both and let his opponents take the betting lead and maxed what he could get.

On a board of J983, Mike Goodman checks and Jeff Knight bets $30,000. Goodman moves all in and Knight immediately calls. Goodman shows 109 but Knight flips over J10. The K on the river does not improve Goodman and Jeff Knight doubles up. Goodman is left with only $25,000 chips.

Dutch was backed for this event, so I highly doubt he is giving any of this money to paying back pokerspot people.

I sweated the final table and saw Dutch do something that I thought was absolutely terrible. He opened UTG, Hachem pushed all in, and it folded to the BB who thought for a bit (the hand where Hachem had AJ and the other guy had KQ). As soon as Dutch saw that he was thinking about calling, he held his cards above the felt like he was ready to muck. He was palming them, but he was even sliding his thumb by the edges making a noise, which drew attention to his hand and cards. And once the guy called, Dutch insta mucked.

Dutch's call with KQ when he opened for 25k and Hachem jammed for something like 500K was just comical. It would have been good for MLG if Hachem lost that pot, but I have to say I was rooting against Dutch.

Nothing went right today for Mike. It was very disappointing to watch. The KK v K9 hand was just disgusting. I can't believe they didn't get it all in at some point in that hand. And actually, after talking with Mike about it quite a bit afterwards, we came to the conclusion that Dutch has him beat a ton of the time there when he bets 100K on the river, but there is still no way he can fold it.

Back in NY now. Thanks for the support guys, it really means a lot to me. Obviously I wish things went better at the final table, but as always in a big tournament I had to be really lucky just to be there.

Some quick notes on Dutch.

1. What he did where he telegraphed his fold is absolutely horrible.

2. His call of Joe's reraise with KQ was great for me, but I really couldnt bring myself to root for a K.

3. I have nothing against Dutch personally. He was perfectly nice and friendly to me. However, I do have to believe that his presence in the poker world, combined with ESPN's refusal to address his Pokerspot history is bad for the game.

4. Dutch was backed, so its unfair for people to be demanding he payback money due specifically to this score.

1) Congrats on a great run. I am only an intermittent 2+2'er (or for that matter, poker player -- I like bridge, backgammon and chess better, they are just not as profitable). I was cheering for you all the way though.

2) If ESPN or Party Poker or anyone else wants Dutch's problems to be kept quiet, they should just pony up the money and take care of collecting from Dutch themselves.

3) Ditto for absolutely ANYONE that is backing Dutch. Yes you can back him for a percent of his win. AFTER HE PAYS HIS DEBTS. Personally, I would like to know who his backers are. They need to be held accountable too.

I still don't understand how someone with $400,000 in gambling debts is walking around with unbroken kneecaps. But maybe he gambles with different types than I do.
