No, it's not always good. He may have 33/JJ. Being in position, the smart thing for him to do would be call your 3-bet and let you lead into him on the turn.

But, you shouldn't be folding this ever for 1 buy-in on that board. nh.

Find a way to get every possible chip into the middle and realize that poker sucks sometimes so you'll occasionally lose, but this is a very +ev hand for you to push hard.
