Site seems a little simplistic with respect to what target is optimal. I'll stick with Izverg's sticky formula.

To answer the original question, the EV of a sticky depends on how much gamble you are will to engage in. The maximum EV is the bonus amount, or a bit less due to the -EV nature of gameplay.
