Perhaps this post would be a better fit in the tech forum, but there was some discussion of net neutrality here a few weeks ago. At any rate, here's what a non-neutral net could mean for poker players. Looks like this litte gadget from Verizon (http://mydd.com/story/2006/6/30/113944/311) could make life messy for all of us if the TelCos are allowed to dictate where you can and can't go online.

Be sure to send a thank you note to Sen. Wyden of Oregon for putting a hold on the bill that would turn the internet over to Verizon and Comcast. But while the bill is struggling, there's still life. Call your Senator (http://senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm) and tell him/her that you support a free internet. Then, you can one day tell your grandkids that you supported a cause backed by liberals, Google, *and* Microsoft. Not an everyday opportunity /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
