i probably should have raised this at some point. cutoff and i have been at the table the longest along with the button(preflop raiser). and both of them have pretty much beat me everytime i went to the showdown with either.

i was more afraid of K10 vs. a set. looking back, it's unlikely that he would have bet out with the nuts? but then again he only bet $1...

Why not bet the flop? There's about 20 cards you don't want to see on the turn. The ace was probably the best turn card in terms of getting value out of your hand.

yes, you are weak. pot flop, pot turn, pot river.

You can't assume he has the one hand that beats you. 2/3 pot the turn if a draw hits; you'd be surprised how often they call without it.

As much as I dislike the flop play... I do understand the logic for not wanting to build a huge pot OOP against LAGs when pretty much every scare card possible murders your hand.

That said, you HAVE HAVE HAVE to raise the turn. It's very likely that someone caught 2 pair, so you have to build the pot and protect your hand so you can stack someone off on the river.

CR turn to 13ish.... then bet 20 on the river.

This guy is not exactly throwing the house at you, you have to think you have the best hand with these bet sizes.

The only possible reason to check on this board would be to c/r. Now why would you let four people see the turn for a dollar when any 8, T, K or club kills your hand and any action you recieve will be from hands that are killing you.

If you are intent on c/r then make it 8 when it comes back around and lead turn. As played i still can't believe you c/c the turn. Again, c/r to at least 12 and lead river.
I don't know why you are being so timid here. There are no more hands that beat you than there were after the flop (except AA which we cant worry about). At least make it 15 on the river and try to get some value out of this hand.

IMO the c/r on flop is fine, make it 8. However a PSB on the flop allows someone with a flush draw to get tricky and raise, in which case you can 3 bet. If you get called bet out 12-15 on the turn and bet the river as well.
