PSO Nevada Jacks update

Just thought I'd give a personal update on the Nevada Jack promotion over at PSO.

I completed my 400 raked hands on December 16th.

My account was verified by PSO on December 19th.

I got an eMail from Nevada Jacks on December 20th, asking for my address to send the chips. (In the eMail was also an offer to upgrade from the 300 chip set to a 500 chip set for $99. I decided to upgrade, mainly because if you upgraded you got to choose your denominations... the free offer was a basic set with standard denomintations of $5, $25, $100 and $500, I think. Plus it was a great opportunity to get 500 Nevada Jacks and a case for $99.)

I ordered the chips on December 22nd.

Chips arrived at my house on the 28th.

Overall a very pleasant experience... and I was also given a 200% bonus when I signed up at Absolute. So, 400 raked hands not only got me the chips, I also got $40 worth of bonus.

Also, I'd like to comment on the chips themselves. They're great. I already had a set of Desert Sands, so I like the style... but the colors and condition of the NJs were terrific. No duds or spinners that I could see in the whole bunch. I love these chips.

Wish they had the upgrade offer when I did it, that's a no brainer.

Yep... I just couldn't turn it down. I got the Desert Sands through the 3-for-2 deal and just couldn't pass on getting 500 NJs for $99 (normally $299). And they really are great chips.

I'll send PSO a note. What do you mean by 3-for-2 deal? Do they allow you to upgrade to 500 chips if you pay the difference? I was going to ask for that.

A while back NJ had a "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" deal for the Desert Sands chips... several folks went together on these.

Once I qualified for the 300 NJ chips through this offer, I got an "upgrade" offer from Nevada Jacks. I could upgrade from the 300 chips "standard" set that I was getting free, to a 500 chip "custom denomination" set for $99.

It was a great deal.

Hmm I wish they'd had this upgrade offer when I did it too. My free set has some spinners but no biggy.

My dates match up almost exact with yours (clearing the bonus up to receiving the email to confirm address). Yet, I haven't received them yet /images/graemlins/frown.gif

great promo for sure, quick easy and some of the better home game chips out there imo.

Emailed them today and they said "they just shipped out". I think someone lost some information /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Either way, they're coming now =)
