You might have to be part of their green program to get this one, but it's 40% up to $100. The code is "GREEN".

Did you guys see their merchandise?? $80 100pc chip sets? This makes blue level at party seem generous. 10,000 points for a hundred-something dollar bonus??...this is crap with no RB....especially with Ongame's rake.....plus there is some real trust issues with them recently. I vote Meh-.

For every $1 in rake, you get .7 points, right? So once they get $14,285 in rake they dish out 10x$150 or $1500 in bonuses, which then need to be cleared?

Am I calculating this right? How generous of them.

The ability to spend your pokerroom points should really be seen as as extra perk when clearing a bonus there. A 10x points bonus at pokerroom will always be better than a 10x bonus at other skins (Holdempoker, for example) that don't let you do anything with the points.

If you are playing there without a bonus, you are giving money away, and no reasonable amount of perks for your points are going to make up for it.

It is 1000 points for the $100 bonus. It clears at .07 points per .10 of rake, non-contributed.

As for using the points, I've used them for tickets to tournaments, never really looked at their "store".

This clears a hell of a lot quicker than PokerStars.

I'm showing it costs 5000 points for a $70 bonus and 10000 points for a $150 bonus. Can we switch accounts?

For the "GREEN" reload? Or are you talking about those bonuses you can "buy" with your points?

The points bonus that livinitup was referring to, not the reload.

The ongame network, on which Poker Room is the largest "skin," has made some really poor decisions on who they license their software to. Some of the ongame skins run by the futurebet group (e.g carnaval and bayou, bigass thread on the zoo) have taken weeks or even months to pay money owed to players. Also, I won't bore you with the details, but checknraise poker had a little snag with sending players to the wsop.

However, I'd say the major ongame skins like pokerroom, hollywood, holdem poker, eurobet, and others (none of which use the crappy cashier service that futurebet sites use) are completely trustworthy (their CS sucks, but that aint exactly unusual). There are others that are good and some that are not, so if you come across an ongame skin and aren't sure about it, just ask in the zoo. Oh, strangely enough, Daniel N's fullcontact poker is a futurebet/ongame skin and people don't seem to be having the same trouble with FC.

Oh, and yes, ongame's rake structure kind of sucks for fixed limit players and bonuses clear very slowly for players playing microlimits. On the other hand, I haven't had to play on an ongame skin without a bonus giving me at least 70% of my rake back over the last year and I've even let some bonuses expire due a lack of time (and I know some die hard bonuswhores are just appalled right now /images/graemlins/wink.gif )

Edited to give a nod to holdempoker (can't leave them off the list of good ongame skins), and to correct an egr.. egrejous, BAH! a bad spelling error.

...and yes, I can spell egregious /images/graemlins/grin.gif

It worked for me about an hour ago.

Yeah, it clears slow but it's still a good reload. You only have to deposit $250 to work off a $100 bonus. Not bad IMO. Also, you can work it off playing SNG's and MTT's.
