Just decided to try a few of these casino's and have a couple questions:

1. Trust casino bonus whores?

2. Anybody else get an error that "a required resource to run the application" is not there and I should try to download again? I tried twice with firefox, then with IE. I am thinking maybe it is bundled with some spyware I am blocking?

I have gotten the same error message and phoned customer support. They sent me an email with an alternate download link. Same problem. After that I quit trying.

I got the same error. Reinstalled windows and the problem was gone (no, this was not the main reason for reinstalling win).

I had problems off and on installing the software from both PlanetLuck and Starluck. It didn't seem like there was rhyme or reason to when it worked and when it didn't. I did find when I cut off all of my firewall/antivirus/spyware blockers it installed more regularly. I just disabled them all, then installed the software, then enabled them. This software is from Party and thousands have used it, so I feel pretty comfortable that it is spyware free.

Anyone know of ways to actually get these to install? I tried disabling spyware/antivirus and still had no luck.

I can install and use PartyCasino just fine. I recall getting that error once with Party, but a redownload and install fixed it.

Same problem for me. This was supposed to be step one of my caniso hoing quest, and I can't even get the freakin software to run...

Cursing and swearing worked to get them installed and running for me, although they did continue to crash a lot. It was probably worth it for the extra $180 I picked up doing the two casinos though. They pay quickly. I don't have any technical advice, since I just kept trying until it sort of worked. I found if I did not exit the casino every 25 minutes, then it would crash pretty reliably every 30 minutes. All in all, not a pleasant experience, but they are just incompetent, they are not trying to cheat you. Cash-out was very fast for me, with no questions, and I continue to receive small amounts of money, requiring no matching deposit, from Starluck. I believe I also received a small follow-up no-deposit $10 from Planetluck, but I lost that one meeting the wagering requirements, so I don't have any notes on it.

I just did the Starluck IGM-Pay yesterday (had to ask live help to add the bonus). I don't think they'll be expiring, since every month they seem to 'extend' it on their promotions page.

I haven't done any casino bonuses, but are these two connected with PartyGaming? If so, how are they different from PartyCasino? Are they basically the same and this is just an easy way to get a bonus?

I read somewhere they got their software from party. Other than that, I don't think there is any connection.

Starluck and Planetluck are owned by Party. They don't actively promote them anymore since they are focusing on on Party Casino, and possibly they will roll their customers into Partycasino eventually (I doubt it though since I am sure they are making $$ as is).

FYI all, it always looks like their bonuses are going to expire at the end of the month on their promotions page, but they always renew them the next month. I was nervous doing my review on one of them because they hadn't updated the IGMPay bonus date, but it went through with no problems.

Separate Registration, but it looks like they use a shared database somehow so you will need different usernames for each of them.

I've solved the install problem!

Thanks to the fine folks at http://www.sysinternals.com

I fired up Filemon to see what was going on and why it was failing to launch.

First, It was trying to find CleanUp.exe. This is a file in the bin directory of the install, but it was first looking for it on the root of C:\, then in my windows and system32 directories. Curious, since my install of windows isn't even on the C drive.

Easy enough to fix, I copy this to the root of C, then it failes to find cleanup.exe in the C:\Program Files\PlanetLuckCasino\bin\ directory. Curious again, since my OS image is on my D drive, not my C (Hence it should be D:\Program Files\...). So, I just copied the whole planetluck directory to a C:\Program Files\... directory, and boom, every thing runs fine.

You will have to copy the StarLuck directory in the same mannor to get it to work.

Someone forgot to take a hard coded path reference out of the software. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Wow! I'm gonna try this tonight when I get home. These two are about the only 2 really good cashable BJ bonuses I still haven't done.
