I was curious for a 2/4 and 3/6 NO LIMIT player for full ring, if I made it to platinum what would be the equivaliant rakeback percentage?

(sorry, I know this has been answered before, I just can't find the link....I suck with 2+2's search function)

under, but not by much. Biggest problem is just hastle of turning your purchased items into $$$

If you plan on playing there a lot I think you should assume supernova, it would be very easy for you to reach SN status. I'm not sure if you'd cross the magic 25% as a SN, but I bet it's close.

on full-ring at super-nova I'm guessing it is over 25%. Especially now that $3 raked-pots count as double VPP's and FPP's.

Just finished school and I really don't want to do the math. Money sure will run a spark for a <5 min math calcualtion of how much rb it gives at nl 100 6 max.

I'm planning on using the points to buy into WSOP events next year...like 3-4 of them.

I didn't know about this "double at full rake" does that mean I get 7 fpp if it's maxed and I'm supernova?

Anyone know what kind of RB platinum/supernova translates into for 10/20 6 max and higher? Is it 25%+ also?

I just did some math out with some 10/20 6 max hands from PT on stars to see what kind of rakeback supernova came out to. Can someone look this over and confirm if this is right?

25.8% of hands are full rake

50.8% of hands are 1-2 in rake

100 hands, 51 hands will earn 3.5 FPPs, 26 hands will earn 7 FPPs

178.5 + 182 = 360.5 FPPs per 100 hands

8600 hands = $500 (amazon gift certificate)

over 20,438 hands the total rake was 34,199 / 6 (6max) = 5700

20,438/100 hands = 204.38, 5700/204.38 = 27.89 in rake per 100 hands

8600 hands / 100 = 86 X 27.89 = ~2400

$500/2400 in rake = 20.8% rakeback

That's fairly interesting and thanks for taking the time to figure that out.

However, I doubt that all of your hands at the 6-max table actually involved 6 players.

You should look at the number of actual players to get a truer indicator of the RB% for you and this is going to lower that figure a little bit.

For instance (using your numbers and incorporating 5.4 players per hand):
34.2/20 = $1.71 avg rake per hand
1.71/5.4 (avg players per hand) = $0.3166 for YOUR contributed rake per hand.

using semi-standard 1.6 cents per FPP.
3.6 FPP's per hand * 1.6 = 5.76 cents

So, your contribution is 31.6 cents.
You are getting back 5.6 cents.
= 17.72%

Yeah, it ain't so fantastic on 6-max but it's still okay.
Of course, you do get extra value from the weekly freerolls and what-not.

I was also curious where it said $3 rake earned double points....looked and couldn't find it /images/graemlins/frown.gif

(I am 8 tabling so that might be the reason)

but I would really appreciate a link /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
