hmmm.. basically a 90*bonus wager requirement really cuts into the ev. looks like EV for the max is 70-90 depending on BJ rules. maybe it's time I learned pontoon? i sure hate that game and end up staring at the chart for 10 mins/hand.

Only 3 columns. It is more exciting IMO because you can hit a 3 card trick when you have a double bet in, for a profit of 4 bets. Pontoons pay 2:1 also.

HA is .17%- that should be enough reason to learn. Remember that you'll be $12.50 of comps for doing the WR as well.

FWIW, the CasinoBlaster's group does these every month. Personally, I usually won't mess around with the high WR if it is less than 50% even though it is +EV (probably because I bet small because I hate busting). The last couple of months they did a 60%, a 45%, and a 55% so if you can wait until July there will be a tastier one than 30% I am sure. If you are one of these folks who sucks up every little bit of EV that is offered, then I guess it is ok. Make sure to deposit today, but don't play until June 24-25 since they are having a 10% cash back promotion on any losses. If you bet big and go busto, at least you will get $50 back if you lose it on those days.

jba, when I did the signup bonus I had run it up to $1350 and then crashed to $600 playing $10/hand. 21 consecutive losses and something like 29 bets in a row with the tie 5 card tricks, tie pontoons, just insane amount of ties.

i have to admit, I was laughing my ass of the entire time at the hilarious shitt I was seeing. it really is kind of fun, but it's amazing how many games you can win/lose in a row. I'm also a bit surprised that it's correct to stand on a 3 card 15 but double on a 4 card 16.. i mean I get the whole guaranteed win thing but that is definitely counter-intuitive. i trust the wiz though..

also, I expect to see this game in a casino exactly never. aside from the low HA (although I imagine this is an easy game to play badly) it seems like a goldmine for counters. aces in particular seem HUGE, both for pontoons and the five card trick potential of soft lows.

but whatever, i'm still up like a grand lifetime vs. golden palace so this is probably good for my unbanned-ness. also I was betting £25/hand until I got to about 1000 and pressed to £50, so it's not like it was a shocking BUSTO.

It is correct to double on the 4 card 16 because you get 2X for the pontoon. Lose 2 units on 6,7,8,9,T,J,Q, and K and win 4 units on A,2,3,4, and 5 with a small adjustment for the chance the dealer also gets pontoon to beat your pontoon.

Btw, just finished up my WR. Ran to 1300 yet again and took a sick downswing 19 in a row loss and cashed out at 600. Every hand was either a 15 loss or a tie loss. God I hate pontoon and variance, lol.
